In order to keep the workplace free from safety hazards, an employer must train its workers in the recognition, identification and prevention of work place hazards and injuries. To accomplish this, an employer must develop, implement and present orientation programs, on-the-job training and conduct regular safety meetings to keep employees informed of the company's safety program.
